Yoga with elements
A creative, adaptable approach that uses supports to enrich the practice and make it safer.

The practice
What this class involves
Yoga with props — blocks, chairs, straps, and sometimes decorative elements — is a creative, adaptable approach that uses supports to enrich the practice.
The idea is simple: it is not for the body to adapt to the posture, but for the posture to adapt to the body. A well-placed support completely changes what a posture gives you.
Benefits
What the class works on
- BlocksThey support, align, deepen or adapt postures — Trikonasana, Savasana, twists.
- The chairIt makes yoga accessible and helps work on balance, grounding and fluidity, including for older adults or during rehabilitation.
- StrapsThey let you stretch safely, reach your feet or hands, and open the shoulders and back without forcing.
- The resultAdapting, securing and enriching the practice, whether you are a beginner, advanced, or looking for a more creative expression.
Structure
How a session unfolds
- Choosing the props
Block height, strap length, chair position: set according to your proportions.
- Supported postures
Every posture is first explored with support, so you feel the correct alignment before the help is taken away.
- Progression
Supports are gradually removed where the body no longer needs them — and kept where they still help.
- Taking it home
Two or three reference points to reproduce at home, with whatever you have to hand.
