  • A credential followed worldwideStudios, hotels, retreats and gyms check the Yoga Alliance registry to verify a teacher's training.
  • A registered school, not just a registered teacherRYS status commits the school to a defined training standard: contact hours, subject areas and assessment methods.
  • An E-RYT 500 and YACEP teacherYoussef Oudghiri holds the E-RYT 500 credential — the registry's highest level of verified teaching experience — and is YACEP-approved to deliver continuing education to other teachers.

The syllabus

200 hours of training

The programme covers every subject area required by the RYS 200 standard, from personal practice to leading a class in front of a group.

Asana and pranayama

In-depth work on postures, breathing techniques and pranayama. You practise on every training day: it is the foundation everything else is built on.

Anatomy and physiology

Understanding the body in movement: joints, muscular chains, the spine, the breath. Knowing what a posture demands — and who it does not suit.

Philosophy and humanities

The sources of yoga, Patanjali's eight limbs, and the ethics of teaching. What gives the practice meaning beyond physical performance.

Teaching methodology

Building a class, using your voice, demonstrating, observing, adjusting and adapting. You teach in front of the group throughout the programme.

Several styles of yoga

The course moves through different approaches — dynamic, restorative, prop-supported — so you can find your own voice as a teacher.

Professional practice

The essentials of teaching for real: safety, the student relationship, ethics, and how to register with Yoga Alliance USA.

The format

One weekend a month, for ten months

An immersion rhythm that gives the practice time to settle between sessions.

  • End-of-month immersionsThe course runs as end-of-month immersions, roughly one weekend per month — a rhythm designed so you can train seriously without putting your career on hold.
  • Internationally renowned guest teachersBeyond the weekends, internationally recognised teachers lead weekday sessions throughout the year, bringing their own specialities and perspectives.
  • 200 verified hoursThe full contact-hour requirement of the RYS 200 standard, split between practice, theory, observation and actual teaching.
  • A deliberately small groupPlaces are strictly limited so that every trainee receives personal guidance and regular individual feedback.

Who it is for

Who is this training for?

Committed practitioners who want to teach — and those who simply want to deepen their knowledge and their own practice.

No spectacular performance is expected. What matters is a regular practice, curiosity, and the availability the ten-month journey requires.

Coming from another world — sport, dance, healthcare, teaching, business? That is common, and it is an asset: your background feeds the teacher you will become.

A preliminary conversation lets us check together that the course matches your level and your plans, before any enrolment.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between RYS 200 and RYT 200?

RYS 200 (Registered Yoga School) refers to the school registered with Yoga Alliance USA — that is Yoga You Center's status. RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) refers to the individual: on completing the course, your certificate of completion entitles you to register yourself as an RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance USA.

Is this certificate recognised in Morocco?

Yoga Alliance USA is a private American organisation, and its recognition is professional and international rather than governmental. As yoga is not a regulated profession in Morocco, it is precisely this international credential that studios, hotels and wellness centres look for, in Morocco and abroad.

Do I need a particular level to enrol?

A regular, established practice is necessary, but mastery of advanced postures is not expected. The preliminary conversation lets us check together that the course suits your level and your plans.

Do I have to want to teach?

No. Many trainees take the 200 hours to deepen their own practice and understanding of yoga, with no immediate plan to teach.

How much does the training cost?

The fee, payment terms and full calendar are sent on request along with the detailed syllabus. Write on WhatsApp at +212 666 818 106.

Where does the training take place?

At Yoga You Center, N° 8, lot El Manar Groupe V, Rue Driss Mhamdi, El Hank, Casablanca: a villa with a large wooden-floored room opening onto the garden, a vaulted lounge and an outdoor space.
