Rocket Yoga

The practice
What this class involves
Rocket Yoga is a dynamic, playful yoga created by Larry Schultz out of traditional Ashtanga. Schultz reworked the series to make them more accessible and more varied — hence the name: "it gets you there faster".
The practice emphasises fast sequences, inversions and balances, with a creative approach that encourages freedom. You can modify, add, swap things out.
Built to be intense but fun, Rocket develops strength, flexibility and focus while sending you towards new physical and mental challenges.
Benefits
What the class works on
- InversionsHeadstand, handstand and forearm balance, approached through progressions and supports, with no forced acrobatics.
- Arm balancesBakasana, Astavakrasana and the rest: strength, yes, but above all technique and placement.
- CardioThe sustained pace of the sequences raises the heart rate; the session is also genuine endurance work.
- FreedomUnlike strict Ashtanga, the series can be changed: everyone works on their own version of the day.
Structure

Who it is for
Who is it for?
